Why does my kitchen tap make strange noises when we turn it off?

LPG is odourless, but it usually has Ethyl Mercaptan added to it making it easier to detect a leak. Without the addition of Ethyl Mercaptan added, leaking gas would be undetectable by smell.

If the controller has been switched off but the sprinklers are still working, it generally means the solenoid valve has malfunctioned. Use the isolation valve to switch off the entire system.
